I am so proud of T's progress in reading. He has read all the Level 1 books that I have found in the library. We're onto the Level 2 books. T has already breezed through the Frog and Toad books by Arnold Lobel. T was taken aback at first because "they are chapter books!" and "they have so many words!" But he has been doing great. I think we are on target to being able to read T's beloved Magic Treehouse books this summer!
L has been doing amazing! He always wants to do work when T is doing work. Then again so does Z. Too bad Z doesn't realize that he is only 20 months! On a lark, I bought L a workbook from the Dollar Spot at Target. L is constantly asking to do work in his book. I've going over work with L the way I did with my kindergartners and L is following perfectly. I am so proud of him.
So when T is doing his schoolwork, L is sitting at the craft table with his workbook and Z is sitting there right with him with his crayons and coloring book. So cute!
