Throw, throw, throw

Much accomplishment is being made with the "homeschooling" room. One major coup is the removal of the sofa set. Our neighbor was correct and the sofa was able to be removed from our house without being chopped into pieces as D had assumed. D simply took the back door off the hinges and with the help of our neighbor, was able to take the sofa out! Woohoo! The sofa set is now sitting under the canopy on our neighbor's driveway. I don't care. It's out of the house! So D quickly took apart the futon and moved it into the family room. Wow, the family room looks so spacious now. And my office looks extremely spacious. With a lot of boxes, of course.

Today, after some nagging, D took it upon himself to watch the boys while I tackled the downstairs. I sorted out the things that I could in the family room. I placed what had a home into its rightful place. Then I tried to make a dent in my office. Not only for the homeschooling, but if we intend to move within the next year, I really have to condense and get rid of things. So I will attempt to make my motto, "Throw, throw, throw." It will be difficult since I have a tendency to save things, but I will try. I already cut up many boxes - which is huge for me. And I have brought T's table to my office. Baby steps.

I have also found my collection of free video cassette tapes that I ordered years ago from Video Placement Worldwide. I found one for the White House. It will come in very handy when we gear up for election day. I also found one for Switzerland. I am determined to continue our studies of countries. The Winter Olympics are coming up this winter, so this will work very well.
